FOUNDER
Member of the College of Architects of Puerto Rico, Panamerican Federation of Architects, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, Puerto Rico Chapter. He became well established in the architectural community when in 1959 he was awarded first prize by Pedro E. Miranda & Associates, and the honor of designing the new San Juan Municipal Stadium, the Hiram Bithorn.
Mr. Sifontes’s design, technique and methodology have initiated many well respected and internationally recognized projects now operational in Puerto Rico, He heads up the design team and is responsible for the development and implementation of architectural and consulting services for all new and current projects, as well as various companies that form Sifontes Group.
GRUPO SIFONTES
Grupo Sifontes, Inc. is the holding company of five subsidiaries, all of which are entities engaged exclusively in the business of planning, designing, building, owning and operating parking facilities in Puerto Rico. We also provide architecture and design services through our architectural firm, established by Orval E. Sifontes, A.I.A. in 1966. Since 1983, our experience in urban design and planning, have allowed us to specialize in parking administration, planning and design. Our staff is fully trained and experienced in all the latest parking technologies and are familiar with the logistics involved in any project.
We have experienced over 25 years of sustained growth in the parking business in Puerto Rico. Operations include an excess of 7,500 authorized parking spaces among 11 different locations, of which 6 locations are multi-story structures. We also have vast experience in administrating commercial lease space facilities and hold operating contracts for both private and government owned facilities. Business relations with owners, suppliers and financial institutions are excellent. We are constantly searching for innovative ways to put our services to use and assist anyone in need of our knowledge and experience.
